Fair Trade, Handcrafted in Bali - Indonesia
This whimsical sculpture is hand carved by artisans crafted in a Fair-Trade cooperative. Made from the branch of a Chinaberry tree which has been attacked by a parasitic vine. The vine bores into the wood and causes an explosion which must be cut out to save the tree. Local Balinese artists carve this discarded wood using only a knife and chisel.

These are hand carved and handmade and no two are exactly alike.
