Lump was a Dachshund owned by photographer David Douglas Duncan, who lived with Pablo Picasso for six years. The dog became a beloved companion and muse for Picasso, appearing in many of his artworks, including interpretations of "Las Meninas." Lump was known for his pampered life with Picasso, who often took him in his arms and treated him with great affection. Hand cast iron.
