Handcrafted from Enamel and Pewter
The Panda lives in six small areas located in China. In China they call the Panda "Xiongmao", which means Giant Cat Bear. Writings about the Pandas can be traced back 3,000 years. The box is cast from pewter and then gold plated. The rich enamels are applied and the box is fired in a kiln, creating a glass-like finish. The box is then accented with Austrian lead crystal jewels. Beautifully crafted in the style of the famous Russian Imperial court jeweler.
