They have a varied omnivorous diet and they are known for their large cheek pouches used to store food. Chipmunks typically live in underground burrows, where they hibernate during winter. Hand crafted pewter box with high-fired enamels and accented with gold and Austrian lead crystal jewels. Beautifully crafted in the style of the famous Russian Imperial court jeweler, Carl Fabergé.
