These earrings are inspired by the wealth of the Bactrian Hoard unearthed at Tillya Tepe, or “golden hill” in Northern Afghanistan. The Bactrian Hoard reflected the rich diversity of culture and art that began to fuse with the Silk Road Trade two thousand years ago. Proceeds from the sale of this product support the National Museum of Afghanistan. Earrings are gold-plated pewter with carnelian gemstones.
