Quan Yin (Guanyin, or Kuan Yin), the Goddess of Compassion who's name roughly translates to "The one who hears the cries of the world". A female version of the Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva who works selflessly to relieve all sentient beings from suffering, shown standing on a dragon. Hand cast in brass by artisans in a Fair-Trade cooperative in Nepal.
