Handcrafted in India Known as the father of microscopy, Anton van Leeuwenhoek Dutch (1632-1723) He taught himself new methods for grinding and polishing tiny lenses of great curvature which were the finest known at that time. A model of a typical late 19th century microscope is reimagined in brass and cast iron as a phone or tablet holder, or simply as a unique desk accessory with a brass trough for holding a pencil or pen.
