Mushrooms are a lot like plants, but they lack chlorophyll and have to take nutrients from other materials. Mushrooms are neither plants nor animals. They constitute their own kingdom—Fungi. These include the familiar mushroom-forming species, as well as yeasts, molds, smuts and rusts. This unique mushroom sculpture is handcrafted by skilled potters in Thailand. Made from the kaolinite deposits mined in the northern provinces of Thailand. High-quality porcelain ceramic, each piece is made one at a time, so each is a unique work of art.
