Cast from pewter and then plated, the vibrant enamels are applied and the box is fired in a kiln, creating a glass-like finish. The box is then set with Austrian lead crystal jewels. Beautifully crafted in the style of the famous Russian Imperial court jeweler, Carl Fabergé.
