Flamingos are tall, wading birds known for their striking pink feathers, long legs, and unique S-shaped necks. They primarily feed on small aquatic organisms like shrimp and algae, which contribute to their vibrant coloration. Handcrafted by artisans in a Fair-Trade cooperative in Guatemala by a group of widows and young women who make beaded jewelry and other items. Profits support basic living supplies for elderly widows, education and medical expenses.
