                  Pewter / Enamel
An exceptional heirloom quality ornament to display during the holidays or all year round. The idea of "the bluebird of happiness" originated with a Belgian playwright, Maurice Maeterlinck, who wrote a play called "The Blue Bird”, a symbolic drama about a small boy and girl who set out to find the bluebird of happiness. Bluebirds are considered the harbingers of spring and a symbol of happiness, love, and hope. The Indians considered them scared because their blue color was like the sky.
