The word ‘angel’ is derived from the Greek word aggelos, or messenger. The angel is the messenger from God and humankind. This beautiful box is cast from pewter and then gold plated. The rich enamels are applied and the box is fired in a kiln, creating a glass-like finish. The box is then accented with Austrian lead crystal jewels. Beautifully crafted in the style of the famous Russian Imperial court jeweler, Carl Fabergé. 3 1/2" Tall.
