Orthoceras are a squid-like Marine Cephalopods that are approximately 350 million years old. Ammonites are ancient cephalopods that are closely related to the modern day chambered Nautilus and are 65-400 million years old. These fossils are found in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. This fossil pyramid is meticulously worked by hand to remove the surrounding rock matrix and then hand polished to reveal the amazing detail of the fossils.

Each one unique. Actual specimen will vary from photo. Approximate dimensions of 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" at base and standing 3.75-4" Tall. Approximately 2 pounds.
