Potter Kerry Brooks began throwing pots in 1988 and has been a full-time studio potter since 1997 when she opened a studio in Minneapolis with a few other potter friends. All of my pottery is high-fired stoneware which had been hand-crafted on a potter's wheel and fired in a natural gas kiln to about 2400 degrees. This stoneware bowl is high fired with glass accents that create a unique design element. Crackle glass pottery is food safe for dry foods. Not dishwasher or microwave safe. 12" Diameter

Items like this with crackle glass glazes should be hand washed and not used in the oven or dishwasher. Items glazed without glass are fully functional as all stoneware pottery produced by Kerry.
