Beautifully made, this hand crafted wood teleidoscope is made from sculpted exotic Wenge wood. A teleidoscope uses everyday images and transforms them into kaleidoscopic displays. The optical ball lens captures the light and images and the internal mirror system converts it into a an amazing image. It was invented by John Lyon Burnside III. Burnside who rediscovered the mathematics behind kaleidoscope optics. Hand crafted from Padauk wood with stand. Beautifully finished and polished with wood stand. From the studios of Nancy Koscheski and Jean Schilling.
