In Moscow at the far end of Red Square are the towers of St. Basil’s Cathedral, perhaps the most famous site in all of Russia. It was constructed between 1555 and 1561 by Ivan the Terrible in thanks for his victory over the Tartars in 1552. Hand carved and beautifully painted linden wood music box. Solid wood sculpture. Largest 8 1/2" T x 4 1/2" diameter.
