The northern cardinal is a bird in the genus Cardinalis. It can be found in southern eastern Canada, through the eastern United States from Maine to Minnesota to Texas, and south through Mexico, Belize, Guatemala and Big Island of Hawaii. Many ancient folklore regards the Cardinal as a symbol of good luck and a symbol of protection from a loved one who has past. Individually handcrafted from borosilicate glass, each minute detail is created over an open flame, making each sculpture one-of-a-kind.
