A chawan (literally "tea bowl") is a bowl used for preparing and drinking tea. This shape, however is also used with rice and soups. This exceptional bowl by Scott uses experimental forms and glazes to create this one of a kind work. A potter since 1974, West Lafayette potter Scott Frankenberger works in functional high fired porcelain. He received his BA from Lawrence University in 1971, and an MA in ceramics from Purdue University in 1979. All are lead free, dishwasher and microwave safe.  4" Diameter, 3" Tall
