India The Celtic cross is a form of Christian cross featuring a nimbus or ring that emerged in Ireland, France and Great Britain in the Early Middle Ages. Celtic knots are most familiar in the ornamentation of Christian monuments and manuscripts, such as the 8th-century St. Teilo Gospels and the Book of Kells. The box is crafted from a combination of native eco-sustainable mango wood and recycled lumber. Finished with a non-toxic distressed finish to give a rustic, antique look to the natural color of the mango wood.
