Handcrafted from Enamel and Pewter The harp seal - Pagophilus groenlandicus - is a species of earless seal, or true seal, native to the northernmost Atlantic Ocean and Arctic Ocean. This charming box is hand cast from pewter and then gold plated. The rich enamels are applied, and the box is fired in a kiln, creating a glass-like finish. The box is then accented with Austrian lead crystal jewels. Beautifully crafted in the style of the famous Russian Imperial court jeweler, Carl Fabergé. Size: 2-1/2" x 1-1/2"
