Art Nouveau was an innovative European art movement popular from 1880 - 1912. It was characterized by its devotion to nature-inspired curving and undulating lines. Topaz was thought to possess the power to increase strength while the Egyptians wore it to protect them from injury. Iolite comes from the Greek word “Ios” which means violet. Known as the gemstone of clear vision, when worn, it was believed to have the power to guide lost sailors by the brilliance of the sun in order to find their way home.  Handcrafted in sterling silver by artisans in India, adjustable to 18"
