This handcrafted feeder is created by skilled artisans in Washington state. Nectar Recipe: mix 1 part white cane sugar with 4 parts tap water. Boil for 3 min., then cool. Unused fresh portions can be stored in refrigerator for 1 week. Keep nectar available at all times during the warm months after your feeder has been established as a food source. When filling , the feeder must be filled completely so that air is not trapped inside to avoid leaks. Hang feeder in a shady area that won’t be hurt by drips of nectar. Keep feeder clean and change nectar every 2-6 days, more often during high temperatures. Rinse with hot water and wash with white vinegar.
