Handcrafted in India
It is thought the Celts regarded the Trinity symbol - also known as Triquetra as Earth, Water and Air, the three forces of nature. Others believe it represents the three stages of femininity, maiden, mother and crone - as well as life, death and reincarnation. As Christianity developed, churches adopted it as the symbol of the Holy Trinity. This sterling silver pendant features a round faceted emerald. Emeralds in antiquity have been mined in Egypt since 1500 BCE, and India, and Austria since at least the 14th century. With 18" sterling silver chain. 3/4" diameter pendant.
