Garnet / Enamel The Elizabethan era was the height of the English renaissance during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I (1558–1603). The “Cheapside Hoard” is the greatest collection of Elizabethan and Jacobean jewelry that was discovered beneath one of London’s busiest streets called “Cheapside” and had lain undisturbed for nearly 300 years. Part of the proceeds from the sale of this product support the Museum of London. Hand crafted from gold plate over cast pewter with enamel and garnets.
