Vintage Flemish -1950’s Beautifully detailed and cast, this vintage altar cross once graced the central altar of a Flemish Catholic Church in the 1950’s. The Catholic Church in Belgium actually consists of two Catholic communities the Dutch-speaking rural Flemish community in the northern part of the country and the French-speaking community living in Brussels and Wallonia, the center and the southern regions of the country. Cast from a German-silver alloy made from copper, nickel and zinc.
