Handcrafted in India A beautiful symbol for world peace, this design features seven world religions Islam, Pagan, Hindu, Judaism, Humanity, Buddhism, Christianity - all circling the iconic peace sign. The peace sign was designed in 1958 by British artist Gerald Holtom for the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND), which was having its first major march in England. Holtom explained that the symbol superimposed the semaphore letters "N" and "D" over each other. Set in sterling silver by skilled artisans in India and presented on an 18" sterling silver chain.
