Image H-17" X W-11" Frame H-22.75" X W-22.75" Frances St. Clair Miller (English, b.1947 - resides Almeley, Hertfordshire, England) was educated at the Slade School of Fine Arts, London. Since that time she has worked as a Master Printer at both Studio Press and Octopus Press, Islington. St. Clair Miller has also served as a teacher of printmaking at Sir John Cass College, London. As an exhibiting printmaker Frances St. Clair Miller is best known for her large, color aquatints of English, French and Italian views. Her fine aquatints have been shown at such institutions as the Hereford City Art Gallery, Courtyard Gallery, Cheltenham, the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, London, Kilvery Gallery Clyro and Impreza Uvano Frankivsk, Russia, and at the Krakow Print Biennale. The Luxembourg Garden (Jardin du Luxembourg, nicknamed Luco) is a public park and the largest in the city located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, France. Luxembourg is the garden of the French Senate, which is itself housed in the Luxembourg Palace. The palace and gardens were built by architect Salomon de Brosse for Marie de' Medici from 1615 to 1627.
